When you first open Picasa
When you open Picasa for the very first time, it will scan your computer for existing pictures. It does not move them or copy them, it just finds them and displays them for you in an easy to navigate ‘library.’
Individual Photo View
Once you’ve explored the Library a bit, you’ll want to view the individual photos and see all the options for editing them:
Importing Photos from your Camera
You can use Picasa to get your photos from the camera to the computer. If you like using some other method for getting your pictures onto the computer, that’s fine, Picasa will see them after they’re in your Pictures folder. But, you may find that you like using Picasa for this:

Picasa 3 has download many time but when I go back it is Picasa 2. Why can I do to upgrade to Picasa 3 for good. Viola
